For most of his life Greg sought to understand self-defense. He studied with some of the most notable names in the self-defense industry. His first instructor and mentor, starting at the age of 12, was Bruce K. Siddle (PPCT). Greg was introduced to other Master instructors with whom he studied and became an instructor with as well. Greg became a Law Enforcement officer and Soon after He joined the Special Operations Team with his department. Quickly, he became one of the Training officers for the team, which he instructed in CTACT as a certified instructor under Master instructor Chuck Cadell. At that time Greg was a member of the American Society of Law Enforcement Trainers.
Greg was also member of the crisis intervention team, worked with the U.S. Marshal's service and took training courses in FBI S.W.A.T tactics, active shooter response and Dignitary protection to name a few.
Since his retirement from Law Enforcement he has started teaching Concealed Carry classes in his home state. Greg is a Illinois Certified Pistol Instructor, NRA basic pistol instructor, USCCA Certified instructor and a USCCA Training Counselor.Greg is also the President and Training Coordinator for the Republican Gun Club of St. Clair County and is on IL. Senator Paul Schimpf's advisory board for second amendment issues.
Greg holds classes for Illinois concealed carry, the USCCA Instructor Course and has an advanced defensive pistol course designed around civilian concealed carry.
